How these numbers are made — and what they aren't
Most crowd calendars hand you a single number and ask you to trust it. We'd rather show our work, so every score on this page opens up into the exact factors that produced it: the seasonal baseline, the day-of-week pattern, the school breaks and federal holidays, the special events, and how well each park absorbs a crowd.
These are informed projections, not measured attendance. They're built from the calendar forces that reliably drive how busy a park gets — spring break waves, Jersey Week, Thanksgiving, Halloween Horror Nights, EPCOT festival weekends, marathon weekends, and the simple fact that Southern California parks live and die by local passholders on Saturdays. Nobody can promise you a wait time three months out, and any site that implies otherwise is overselling.
We also started recording real hourly wait times across all eleven parks in July 2026. As that history builds, these baselines will be re-fitted against what actually happened rather than editorial judgement — and because the factor breakdown is already visible, you'll be able to see exactly what changed.
