The short version
- Everything here is free to use. Read it, print it, plan your trip with it.
- Our crowd levels and wait estimates are projections, not promises. Confirm anything that matters — especially height requirements and park hours — with Disney or Universal directly.
- We’re an independent fan site. We can’t help with your booking, tickets, or refunds.
- Quote us with a link, don’t copy pages wholesale, and don’t scrape the site.
- If we get something wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Using this site means accepting these terms
By using theadventuristslog.com you’re agreeing to what’s on this page. If you don’t agree with something here, the right move is simply not to use the site. These terms apply to everyone — you don’t need an account with us, and we don’t offer one.
What our planning tools are — and what they aren’t
This is the most important section on the page, so we’d rather be blunt than lawyerly about it.
Chart My Day builds a suggested itinerary from our own editorial judgement about how each park operates. The wait times it shows are estimates for a typical day, adjusted for the crowd level we project. They are not forecasts of your actual wait, and they can be wrong.
The Crowd Calendar projects how busy a day is likely to be using published calendar factors: school breaks, holidays, special events, and day-of-week patterns. It is not based on measured attendance figures, and we say so on the tool itself. Every score shows the reasoning behind it precisely so you can judge it for yourself and disagree where you think we’ve got it wrong.
Can My Kid Ride? compiles height requirements from the parks’ published information. Requirements change, sometimes without much notice — Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom dropped from 40 inches to 38 in May 2026, which changed who could ride overnight. We keep this data current to the best of our ability, but the measurement that counts is the one taken by a cast member at the ride. Please don’t promise a child a ride based solely on what this page says.
Live wait times come from queue-times.com, a third-party source. We pass their data through without altering it. If it’s stale or wrong at source, it will be stale or wrong here.
Our rules tracker, closures tracker, dining guides, and resort guides are compiled from official and published sources and are accurate as best we can manage, but parks change things constantly. For anything you’re depending on — hours, availability, prices, accessibility, health and safety restrictions — check the My Disney Experience or Universal Orlando app, or ask the park.
What we don’t promise
The site and its tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the information here is complete, current, or error-free, that the site will always be available, or that using it will produce any particular result on your trip.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we’re not liable for losses arising from your use of this site — including a missed ride, a wasted park day, a purchase you regret, or travel costs. You make your own decisions about your trip; we’re one input among many, and we’d encourage you to treat us that way.
Nothing here limits any right you have that can’t be limited by law.
What we ask of you
Use the site normally and everything is fine. Specifically, please don’t:
- Scrape, crawl aggressively, or hammer our endpoints with automated requests. The tools are free; the bandwidth isn’t.
- Copy whole pages, guides, or datasets and republish them as your own. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome and always has been.
- Pass our content off as yours, or feed it wholesale into a product you’re selling.
- Try to break, probe, or interfere with the site or the services it depends on.
- Use the contact form to send spam, threats, or anything unlawful.
Content — ours, theirs, and yours
Ours: the writing, the tool logic, the data we compiled, the illustrations and icons, and the site design are ours. Link to us freely and quote us reasonably with attribution. Anything beyond that, just ask — the answer is often yes.
Theirs: Disney, Universal, and every cruise line and franchise mentioned here own their own trademarks, characters, and imagery. We use those names to write about them, which is what commentary and reporting require. Nothing on this site implies their endorsement. Photographs credited to third parties remain the property of their photographers under whatever licence is noted.
Yours: if you send us a news tip, a correction, or a comment, you’re giving us permission to publish or act on it. Tell us if you’d rather not be named and you won’t be. You keep ownership of what you send; we just get to use it. Don’t send us anything you don’t have the right to share.
If you believe something here infringes your copyright, tell us with enough detail to identify the work and we’ll review it promptly.
Links to other places
We link to the parks, to other outlets, and to retailers. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices and we don’t control what they do. Some of our links to Amazon earn us a commission at no cost to you — that’s explained in full in our affiliate disclosure.
The shop
Orders in our shop are processed by Wix Stores and fulfilled by Printful. Their terms govern the transaction, including payment, shipping, returns, and refunds. We never see or store your card details. If something goes wrong with an order, contact us anyway and we’ll help you chase it.
Subscribing is optional and free, and every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe. We send occasional updates and news — not daily, and not just to fill a slot. See the privacy policy for what we do with your address, which is very little.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes too. Continuing to use the site after an update means accepting the revised version. We won’t make quiet changes and pretend they were always there.
Questions, and corrections especially
Anything about these terms goes to ryan@theadventuristslog.com or through the contact form.
And to repeat the thing we care most about: if something on this site is wrong, we would much rather know than look right. Point us at it and we’ll fix it and say what changed.
