In our house, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival isn't a thing we happen to catch — it's the thing we plan the fall around. So we've had August 27 circled for a while, and now that Disney has shared the details on its official Parks Blog, we can tell you what's actually worth building a day around this year.
The dates
The 2026 festival runs from August 27 through November 21 — nearly three months, which makes it the longest event on EPCOT's calendar. That length is a gift for planners: you don't have to cram it into a single trip, and the earliest weeks, from late August into September, overlap with some of the lowest crowd levels of the whole year at Walt Disney World.
What's on the menu so far
Disney has only previewed a handful of dishes this early — the Parks Blog notes the chefs are “still cooking up the final menus and list of marketplaces for 2026,” so we're not going to pretend we know the full booth list yet. What's confirmed to return gives you a taste of the range, though: Street Corn-style Dumplings (chicken dumplings with tomatillo salsa verde, street corn salad, cotija, lime crema, and cilantro), a Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer, and the Kirschwasser Torte with cherry-brandy buttercream. We'll update this as the full marketplace lineup is announced.
The concerts might be the best part
The Eat to the Beat concert series is back at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion, running nightly from August 27 through November 16. Each act plays three sets a night — 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00 — and the shows are included with regular EPCOT admission, first-come, first-served, unless you book a dining package for guaranteed seating.
This year's lineup leans deep. Disney's announced slate includes returning favorites like Boyz II Men, The Beach Boys, Yellowcard, and Hanson, alongside a batch of festival first-timers — among them Lauren Alaina, Fitz and The Tantrums, Grace Potter, KT Tunstall, Bowling for Soup, and Jordin Sparks. If you spot a band you love in there, that's worth anchoring a whole evening around.
The little extras we always do
Two festival traditions are confirmed back for 2026: Remy's Hide & Squeak, the Ratatouille-themed scavenger hunt where you track down little Remy figures hidden around the park, and Emile's Fromage Montage, the cheese-focused food stroll that rewards you for working through a checklist. They're small, they're cheap, and they're the kind of thing that turns a lap around World Showcase into a game the kids actually want to play.
How we'd actually do it
Here's our honest take: go early. The opening weeks stack the festival on top of EPCOT's quietest crowd season, so you get shorter lines at the marketplaces and first crack at items before they sell out for the day. Split dishes so you can taste more, pace yourself around World Showcase instead of trying to do the full loop in one go, and remember that at nearly three months long, this festival rewards a slow, come-back-tomorrow approach. You've got the runway — use it.
