If a Disney cruise is on your someday list, summer 2027 is worth a look right now — because Disney Cruise Line has laid out its entire summer 2027 map, and the headline is a big one: the Disney Wish is sailing to Europe for the very first time.
The Wish goes to Europe
This is the news. The Disney Wish — one of Disney's newer, larger ships — will cross the Atlantic and spend summer 2027 in Europe for the first time, sailing three- to ten-night itineraries. Among the ports on the map: Zadar in Croatia, Trieste near Venice in Italy, and Hellesylt in Norway. That's a genuinely different Disney cruise — the Mediterranean and the Norwegian fjords instead of the Caribbean — on a ship that's only been at sea a few years.
Florida keeps the fleet busy
Back home, Disney is loading up both Florida homeports. From Port Canaveral, the Disney Dream runs three- and four-night Bahamas trips, the Disney Fantasy adds four- and five-night Bahamian and Caribbean sailings plus a ten-night Southern Caribbean, and the Disney Treasure handles seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean routes. From Fort Lauderdale, the newest ship — the Disney Destiny — sails three-, four- and five-night Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries, with longer Eastern and Western Caribbean options as well.
Alaska is back
For the cooler-weather crowd, the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder both return to Alaska in summer 2027, sailing round-trip from Vancouver — seven nights as the standard, with the Magic adding six- and eight-night options.
When you can book
One catch for planners: these sailings have already been on sale since the winter. Early booking for Castaway Club members opened February 16 and general booking opened February 23, so the most sought-after dates and stateroom categories — especially on that first-ever Wish Europe season — are the ones that go first. If a 2027 cruise is even a maybe, it's worth pricing it out now rather than later.
Our take
The Wish in Europe is the one to watch. Putting one of Disney's largest and newest ships into the Mediterranean and the Norwegian fjords is a notable shift from the Caribbean-and-Bahamas routes those newer ships usually run — and first-ever seasons like this tend to sell out early and hold their price. If a European sailing on a Disney ship has ever been a daydream, summer 2027 is the year it's actually on the table.
