Epic Universe finally has its nighttime finale. Universal Celestial Goodnight premiered on July 7, 2026, running nightly at park close in Celestial Park — the hub connecting all four of the park's lands. At roughly nine minutes, it's built around the Cosmos Fountain and combines fireworks, water, lasers, and a full musical score, with pyro bursts spread through the whole runtime instead of saved for a final volley.
The technical specs are the real headline: more than 350 fountains choreographed to move with the music, close to 600 synchronized light fixtures, and seven million LEDs woven through the set pieces around the fountain. The score pulls musical themes from Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe, giving all four lands a moment in the show rather than favoring one IP over the others.
Because Epic Universe's closing time shifts throughout the year, so does the show's start time — check the Universal Orlando app on the day of your visit rather than relying on a fixed schedule. For viewing, seating wraps most of the way around the fountain; the one spot worth avoiding is directly in front of the Helios Grand Hotel, where the fireworks end up behind you instead of in front.
